About the Brand
Q: What inspired you to start Plus Confident?
**A: When I first started Plus Confident, it was simply a T-shirt line catered to plus-size women like myself to be more confident in themselves. I was successful at that time, but I was still truly struggling with confidence myself—mentally, physically, and emotionally. I took some time off and decided to work on me, and that’s where I discovered the true meaning of confidence. You have to do more than just wear or say it; you have to believe it and take actionable steps to achieve it. That’s how the rebirth of Plus Confident came about!
Q: How did you come up with the name “Plus Confident”?
**A: I came up with the name Plus Confident over the phone with one of my closest friends at the time. She was ranting about how confident I was and how other women needed that, even her, herself not being plus-size and we just added the concept of being plus-size and confidence—it was truly a definition of me, lol.

Q: Can you tell us about the mission and vision of Plus Confident?
**A: Plus Confident is a brand dedicated to uplifting and empowering women of all sizes, aged 24 to 65. Founded in 2019, Plus Confident was born from a personal journey of overcoming self-doubt and embracing inner strength through affirmations, personal development, and faith. Our mission is to inspire women to feel great about themselves, no matter where they are in life.
We offer a range of stylish apparel and home decor designed to resonate with the modern, confident woman. Our brand embodies a personality that is motivating, uplifting, empowering, funny, and deeply supportive. At Plus Confident, we believe that true confidence comes from aligning the mind, body, and soul. This belief is at the heart of our slogan: “Where confidence meets mind, body, and soul.”
Looking ahead, our vision is to create a space where women can come together—through conferences and events—to uplift each other, boost self-confidence, and learn skills to support their mental health, love, and family lives.

Q: What types of merchandise do you offer, and how do they reflect the brand’s values?
**A: With our Plus Confident Boutique we offer e-books, T-shirts, hoodies, mugs, and other home decor that reflect our brand values by uplifting our community. On our merchandise, you may find something uplifting and caring or simply a reminder that you are that girl and affirmations to help you get to that belief system.
Q: What is the name of your e-book, and what motivated you to write an e-book on self-love?
**A: Our e-book is titled “Self-Love the Blueprint from Grace to Confidence.” I was motivated to write this book to help women who are just like me, struggling with truly loving themselves and showing grace. We also touch on setting boundaries, which is important in this day and age and each chapter has an activity to help readers navigate through their self-love journey.
Q: What are some key takeaways you hope readers will gain from your e-book?
**A: Key takeaways I hope readers gain from my e-book are to know that loving yourself is okay, it is not selfish. It’s okay to have boundaries and truly learn who you are so you can live all parts of you—the good, the bad, and the ugly. Whatever you don’t like, you have the power to fix it and the power to choose how people can operate in your life!
Entrepreneurial Journey and Advice for Aspiring Entrepreneurs
Q: How do you stay motivated and inspired in your entrepreneurial journey?
**A: I stay motivated and inspired by truly keeping the end in mind! If I was to base it off of right now, I’d quit today because it is hard, but I know the reward and freedom that I will have with my family and no financial stress will be sweeter.
Q: What advice would you give to other women looking to start their own business?
**A: The best advice I can give is to do it while scared, learning, and growing! You won’t know all there is to know about business, but if you let your lack of not knowing be the reason you don’t start, then you still know nothing. Do your research and take action, and every little thing every day counts. You’ll look up one day and be right where you dreamed to be.
