If You Lose Someone But Find Yourself You Won ❤️

Sometimes God puts people in our lives for a reason. To make a long story short I met a guy. The relationship lasted over a year and I just knew he was going to be the “one.” It turned out that I was completely wrong. When our relationship ended I was devastated, broken and it took me years to get over it.

It also took me years to realize that the relationship was a wake up call for me. After the heartbreak I found happiness, my value and worth. I found myself! My prayer life and relationship with God became stronger. I stopped feeling sad & became thankful for everything I experienced during and after the relationship. Why? Because I wouldn’t be the woman I am today.

God makes no mistakes there was a reason why the relationship ended. We are shown signs at the beginning but most times we ignore them. Maybe God had to break your heart in order for you to move on. Because for most of us, that’s the only way we would end a relationship. This heart break is not the end of the road for you. Yes, you may be crying now but you will not be down forever. Better days are coming! Don’t wait around for someone who may not come around. If that person is meant to be in your life they will be back. Maybe his place in your life was to grow your relationship with God, to make you a better woman for the right one or it just wasn’t the right time.

It may take a week, months or years before the pain is gone but just know that hurt won’t last always. If you lose someone but find yourself then you are the winner. I had to be broken in order to find myself. Focus on yourself, protect your heart but most importantly your peace. One day you will find your happiness again and will be able to say “God may not be done with you but I am.” Keep your head up things will get better. ❤️
